Wyatt has gotten to be such a big boy. He is winged off the pacifier finally. It is still a challenge at times cause Esme uses one. He has really started to talk good. We can now understand 50% of what comes out of his mouth. The other day he said his first prayer. I told him what to say and he mimicked me. The part that was the clearest was Jesus Christ. It made Matt and I so proud. He is such an obedient child especially for only 20 months. He is such a character. He loves to sing and dance. It's fun to watch. And the best big brother to Esme. I love my little man

Esme has gotten so big. Its hard to believe she is only 6 Mons.I have to buy 12 Mons to fit her chubby arms and legs in her clothes. She is almost a carbon copy of me. My little mine me chubbiness and all! She is so smart. When she looks at you you can see the gears moving in her head. She just loves Holly. Sometimes I think she thinks Holly is her real mom. She is getting to move around pretty good using the wounded soilder crawl. and She loves to grawl and say bababa. She is way more vocal than Wyatt was. She is another great addition to our family. i'm really blessed to have such easy going kids. Here are some pics.

I have a lot of catching up to do so let me start with Halloween. We had Holly and her family come to our ward trunk or treat. both of our families had a theme her was Alic in Wonderland and ours was the 50's. It was a lot of fun. Esme was a poodle girl, Wyatt a T bird, Matt was a greaser and I was Rosie the riveter. Since Esme was born we have been busy. We went to Matt's cousin wedding when she was 15 days old, Dallas for Malachi blessing and sealing, hanging out with Holly and the kids, we have blessed Esme, celebrated our anniversary and Matt's b-day. a lot going on but I have enjoyed every minute of it. ESME ARRIVES!

Esme Kathleen McKinley was born at 8:40 Monday morning in Temple TX. She weighted 8lbs and 4oz and was 20in long. Everything went smooth with my c-section. Recovery is going well. I can't believe its been a week almost two already. It goes by so fast. Thank goodness Makaila has come to stay with me for a couple of weeks. I don't know what I would have done. Wyatt is adjusting well he seems very protective already. He watches every little thing we do to her. He has been Mr. grumpy pants lately but that's because he has an ear infection. Not the best timing for that but thank goodness for Makaila she has become Wyatt's nurse and nanny with out a complaint about anything. Here are some pics of Esme and Wyatt. NEW HAIR DO!

This is the shortest hair cut Wyatt has had and I think he looks so handsome. I figured the more I cut his hair than he will get use to it and not fight me when I do cut it. This was the night before we went to the hospital to have Esme. When I see pics of Wyatt and me it makes me wounder if people really think he is mine cause he looks nothing like me. He is all daddy.

After Wyatt and I went grocery shopping he decided to play in the mud while we unloaded the car. He dug right in. He is all boy and some times you have to let them be free to explore. I think that is why Wyatt is such a great kid. The first reason is because Heavenly Father blessed Matt and I. The second is that we have the same parenting style. We are not the type of parents that hover over our kids and never let them get dirty or every time they fall down freak out. Wyatt is so well behaved most of the time but like everybody he has his moments. I really enjoy being a mom.

Wyatt turned one and we had a little party with friends and family. It turned out really nice more people showed up than I expected. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and had ice cream and cup cakes. My only complaint is it was really hot. Wyatt got some really nice toys and enjoyed every minute of all eyes on him. As you can see everything went in his mouth first. Here are a couple of pics.

We go to the kiddy park in the mall a lot and Wyatt saw this car cart and had to drive it. He is all boy what can I say. The funny part is that he naturally had his arm hanging out the side window just like his MACPA. Some things are just in your blood.

We have decided to tear down an old house on our property to build a new apartment we can rent out. We have so much going on Esme's comming July 5, I'm taking a couple of classes, Matt just passed he's test for journeyman, Wyatt's on the go, and this remodel. Its a lot at one time but we are making it work. Its going a little slower than I would like. But I think in the long run it will be well worth the wait. Here are some before and after pics.

Grandma,Wyatt and I went to the duck pond while PawPaw and Matt went to the Priesthood conference. Wyatt enjoys being outside. He thinks he is such a big boy and should be free to roam where he pleases. He is a strong little fart and hard to control at times but a blast to watch.

We celebrated Easter with Grandma Nevil and PawPaw on Saturday. Grandma and PawPaw got him some great gifts. A stuffed frog and a truck that he can push around. We tried to do an egg hunt but stopped early because Wyatt felt the need to put every egg in his mouth instead of the basket but we got some great pic.We had a great time hanging out at the house watching Wyatt play with all his new toys.

Wyatt is getting closer and closer to walking. He will pull himself up on any thing and now he will just stand up without any help. If you hold his hand or he grabs on to your pant he can walk with you. The other day Wyatt was standing in front of Papaw and I got him to take one step to me but after that he chickened out and just sat down. I can't wait tell he starts walking cause he is so heavy.

Sat. We went to the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco. It was such a beautiful day. The animals were all enjoying the the weather too. Wyatt is such a people watcher I think he liked watching the kids more than the animals at times. He really like the sea otters. We had a great day we plan on going back real soon.

Matthew got his hair cut today and while we were there I asked if Angie the stylist could trim Wyatt's hair too. It was starting to grow over his ears and driving me nuts. He just sat there and let her do what she needed to do. I was very proud of him. My baby is getting so big.

We had our ultrasound and found out Wyatt is going to be a big brother to a baby sister. We are going to name her Esme Kathleen McKinley. We couldn't be more excited. Every thing seems to be going well. She is healthy which we can't thank the Lord enough for. I think Wyatt feels some thing is going on because he has become more clingy to me at times. He is sill a daddy's boy the rest of the time. But he is also getting two bottom teeth at the same time so maybe its just that. Here is Esme's debut

Here are some pics of Wyatt playing with his MacPa. They always have a great time playing keep away. Wyatt like to take his most valuable possession his pocket knife and work keys. But MacPa all ways gets them back just in time for the next work day. Wyatt has started to bear crawl on tile because its to cold. It is so funny to watch. He is so close to walking. He still has to work on his balance and than being brave enough to let go but He will get is soon.

Wyatt's hair is at that weird stage. Its long but not long enough to cut so I put hair puddy in it to keep it in place. This is what it looked like before I combed it. Fun but not our every day look we like to keep it clean cut. I hate when I see babies with Mohawks can't explain why just drives me nuts. Like they are trying to hard and copying what everyone else around them is doing. We McKinley's like to keep it handsome and simple. So all eyes are on the baby not his hair. Anyways I guess I said my peace about that.

I have been going to the kiddie park in the malland Wyatt loves it. He will watch the other kids and try to do what they do. He kept going in and out of the tunnel he would get so proud of himself when he got to the other side. He would start clapping and give me a big smile. such a cutie.

Matt and I finally made the time to go on a date. It was really nice we went to Outback and than played some pool which reminded me of our first date. I wish I would have taken more pics next time I guess. We are going to make a big effort to do that more often. It was hard leaving Wyatt behind even thought he was in good hands cause there were babies every where at Outback. I love my husband and the wonderful life he provides for me and our son. It is so nice not to have to put Wyatt in daycare just to bring in an extra pay check. love ya lots babe!

Wyatt sat and watched his first Super Bowl eating a chicken wing. As you can see from the pic you never get to close to a little mans food. When it comes to food if he sees it he expects a bite or the whole plate. It doesn't matter if he just eat his dinner and his stomach is has hard as a rock. He wants a bite. We had a great time. We came over to pawpaw and Grandma Nevil's house this is one of the only Nevil traditions.

That is what goes through Wyatt's head when he sees anyone with a bowl, cup, or spoon. He will crawl as fast as he can toward you grunting some times even growling to get a couple of bits. I don't think he is ever full enough. He is now 7 mons. and just a little under 20 lbs. He has started to crawl normally but if its faster to do the wounded solder he will revert back to that. He has been pulling himself up on any thing and every thing he can. He hates to be restrained by any thing weather it be his crib or some one holding him. And he will let it be known. The other baby is doing well I'm about 16 weeks. This has been a cake walk compared to my pregnancy with Wyatt. Which worries me. my theory is hard pregnancies = easy baby easy pregnancy = difficult baby. I hope to be proven wrong but Dad all ways said plan for the worst hope for the best. keep us in your prays that every thing will continue to go well.

We had a great Christmas this year with both families Steve and his family came down. Maggie is so funny you can't help but laugh when around her. And Steve so much like dad its scary. Its hard to believe sometimes that my baby brother is all grown up. He is a good man. Wyatt really enjoyed Sophia. I can't believe I didn't take any pics of them together. Sorry Sophia. We also got to spend a lot of time with Laura and her little men. Both Laura and Dj are really animated which was fun to watch Wyatt feed off cause I 'm not that way, but I'm trying to be cause Wyatt loves it so much. They are very good parents. Wyatt really liked watching the boys play. He wanted to be part of the action. Uncle DJ feed him his first grilled cheese which he loved. But the boys stoled the spot light. You can see how Wyatt looks up to his older cousin already. The only family missing was Holly's . I don't know how we would of handled all those girls in one house but it would have been fun to see them. it's been almost three years. That is the longest time I have ever been away from them.I can't wait tell they come home to the states.

We went to the semi final football game Abilene Wylie vs. Love joy. Love joy kept the lead most of the time till the last 8 sec. Wylie made a touch down and won the game. It was a lot of fun but very cold. Wyatt seemed to really enjoy watching everyone around us. He didn't complain until it was time to eat. He is such a easy baby.

I have started to babysit our friends from church kids twice a week. They are great kids Lydia is 3 and Ethan is almost 2. They are so smart and play well with Wyatt. I have finally lost most my baby weight (IT'S ONLY TAKEN THREE MONTHS) and I'm now brave enough to be in pics with Wyatt and Matt. I was so self conscious that I don't really have any pics of me and Wyatt. Matt and I were always taking pics when we were dating. I got really big when I was pregnant and there were not very many modest dresses they were all to short so I had to wear Maxie dresses. The sad part is I thought I looked nice. BOY WAS I WRONG!

When we go to Marianne's I like to she the girls reaction to Wyatt since they aren't around babes much it can be funny. Savannah is the funnest she gets jealous especially when Marianne holds and talks to him. She makes these little screams to let you know she is not happy. First Football Game!

Wyatt and I went to see Marianne and The Kids this weekend. While we were there we got to go to a football game and watch Makaila preform during half time. It was a lot of fun. Wyatt didn't care for the game but enjoyed listing to the band perform. He loves music we listing to music all day. I think his favorites are primary songs and hymnals. When I was pregnant and we would go to Matt's choir practice he would get really excited in my tummy. Now it seem to relax him so we play it at night. We also got to see Daniel Janel's oldest son for the first time in a couple of years. He is such a gentleman. That's hard to find these days. We always have fun with Daris and Marianne they have such a great family.

The other day Grandma Kate and I were making cookies for a Republican Conference. I put Wyatt in his bumbo chair on the table we were working at. He really enjoyed being in the center of all the activity. He looked like a little chief after we handed him a spatula. Its fun doing things with him. Its really hard to stay away from him even for a couple of hours. I just don't understand how people can leave their kids for long periods of time. Because you miss out on so many of their day to day achievements.

Lets see Wyatt has started teething and has become really angry at times when he wants some thing to chew on. As seen from the pic. This is not typical for him he usually is all smiles or asleep. So I hate to she him like this. He is getting big so fast, at his 2 month appointment he was 13.4lbs. and 23.25in. long. He's a big boy! He is starting to look more and more like me. He has my lips. And his eye's are getting lighter like his daddy. well that's it for now

We went in Sunday to be induced by Monday morning the doc decided to do a c-section cause I was not getting pass 4 cm. Wyatt came via c-section at 4:16pm 7lbs 14oz and 20 inches long. Yes a lot smaller than had been predicted. Good thing he came c-section cause he was trying to come out sideways and the cord was around his neck. Every thing went really smooth I had great nurses and doctors. Both Matt and I got blessing before hand which helped us stay calm. I could not have asked for a better experience. He was worth all the wait and sickness. Family is a true blessing from our Heavenly Father and should be our number one priority. I love ya'll and can't wait for ya'll to meet Wyatt.

We found this furniture at the PX for a great price. I wanted his theme to be planes but couldn't find the vintage style that I like so we Incorporated trucks, trains, and cars. Matt and I painted the letters for his name I think they turned out cute. His coming home outfit is in the crib I hope he fits in it.

I'm now 34 weeks so I have a little longer to go but because Wyatt is getting so big he might come sooner than expected. We have an ultra sound on Monday so by the 11th we should know if we are gonna have to have a c-section because of his size or not. I was thinking he would be about 9lbs. but when the Doc. throughout the number 12lbs. I was very surprised. So my first baby might be the same size of a turkey you would serve at thanksgiving. But we are happy that every thing is going so smoothly and there are no signs of any health problems. Matt bought this home last April before we got serious. He felt the need to invest his money in something instead of blowing it and having nothing to show for it. The lord work in mysterious ways. Good thing he did cause than we got married. It was nice already having a place to go instead of having to find an apartment. It made the transition that much easier. I think its the cutest starter house not to big not to small. It needs some work but in time it will be like new. The house itself is two bedrooms one bath. The room are a good size only complaint is the lack of closet space. The kitchen is huge and open I like that. the yard is fenced in giving Wyatt a safe place to play with supervision of course. The other downfall is that we live between a hwy and train track but its not as bad as it sounds. The laundry room is in the garage than there is another small room that is were Matt is gonna have all his gun stuff once its cleaned out. Than there is a huge two car garage it has a nice work bench that has come in handy he does a lot of work welding for his dad. The small little house we hope to make a little rental. It has a bathroom in it. We would just need to add a kitchen and it would be like a studio apartment. The property has two wells on it, pecan trees in front of the house and in the back we could have some animals. We want to get a cow next year to raise for meat. Its a great little set-up we are close to town but far enough away to have a little country living. I can't wait tell we can start remodeling.

I finally remembered my username and password. I'm so forgetful now. A lot has happened in a month. I have finally gotten over my all day sickness, so I'm once again a happy person. Matt is grateful for that! He was so supportive and took great care of me (he learned the routine quick)which made it a little easier to cope with. As you can see from the pics I have gotten a lot rounder in the tummy and some other places I'm not to happy about but it will come off Right? Wyatt is doing great he is a mover and a kicker. I like it. When he stops I get a little worried but I have been told that's normal. Matt was able to feel him for the first time the other day. It seemed Wyatt didn't want his dad to know he was there so when Matt would try to feel him he would stop real fast. We can now also see him moving from the outside too. he is getting so big. I just finished my first two classes on line and started my history and Gov. classes so I'm getting use to school now. Matt's doing great at work. His brother Adam Just moved out to his own place so now we are starting to get Wyatt's room ready. I will put pics of that when its done. We are also gonna try and plant a garden and some flowers in the flower beds around the house. I'm looking forward to that too. Now that I have energy I have all these grand Ideas to increase the value of the house. So I tell myself one step at a time. As you can see all is well in the McKinley house hold.

IT'S A BOY!

Say hello to Wyatt Schuyler McKinley. He will be the first Grandson on the Nevil side and the first to carry on the McKinley name on Matt's side. We are so excited and can't wait tell June. I have a feeling he is going to be a hand full like his daddy but a wonderful spirit. it will take some time to learn the ropes of how to raise a boy sense all my experience is with girls but we are up for the challenge. Its still hard to believe I'm gonna be a mom. I never thought i would meet the right person to take on that responsibility but thanks to Heavenly Father and his church I found the perfect helpmate. With the church as our foundation we will continue to be blessed .

I finally look pregnant instead of person how needs wide load on there back. This has been harder than I thought everyone makes it look easy and fun. It hasn't been that way for me. I'm tired all the time and can't keep anything down. Unless its subway or those fried bean burritos you get from gas stations. thats not what I call health eating. I have become a hermit cause it takes to much energy to do anything. On a better note Matt and I were called to teach CTR 8 we enjoy that a lot. I'm gonna start school full time and Matt is working on getting his journeymen for plumbing.

We are busy busy busy but life is great.

Our new years adventure! We decided to try and make some quick money and we were told this was a good way. BOY WERE THEY WRONG. We ended up paying our help more than we pocketed but you live and learn. Next year will be better.

Well, were do I start. We are not moving to Georgia. We wanted to stay close to family after making that decision we found out we are having a BABY. Now I'm really scared! and Matt's really excited I would be to if I didn't have to do anymore work. We will keep ya'll posted when we learn more.
